Some fun facts about me:
My name is Dionne Meidinger and I was born in Florida, and moved to France, where my Dad is originally from, when I was just a little girl. I grew up in France and moved to the United States permanently when I was 21 years old. I’ve had a lifelong interest and enthusiasm for all animals. My sisters and I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, bunnies, and birds. My mom was a professional barrel racer, and owned several of her own horses, which the Palomino being one of her favourites.
I have worked for Big Dog Animal Rescues for years and raised my own Great Danes. Can you tell, yet, I like big, powerful animals. 🙂
I worked for a Raptor organization for 10 years, as a lecturer, and taking care of over 35 birds. During this time, I obtained my Bachelors in Avian Biology.
I am a 4th degree Black Belt in Martial Arts and I’ve taught Kung Fu and Tai Chi for over 20 years. I started in Martial Arts when I was about five years old.
I have my degree in photography, which I obtained at Golden West College in California. I love animal and nature photography.
I have been working strictly with equines and barn sitting for friends for a few years now. I enjoy every second of it. I want to be the voice for all animals and protect them as much as I can. They literally are my world.
