Massage Services
Therapeutic Massage**
Therapeutic massage is used for sensing inflammation through heat, decreased blood flow, knots/scars, and other irregularities. The goal is to manipulate the soft tissues and loosen tight muscles, joints, tendons, scar tissue, and edema. Also to increase blood flow and lymphatic activity, as well as reducing stress. Therapeutic massage can be used as an exercise warm-up or after an injury or aid in rehabilitation.
Senior Massage**
Senior massage uses manual manipulation of the horses muscles and soft tissues to alleviate muscle tension and promote the overall well-being. As well as improving their circulation, stimulate the muscle tissue, and slow down the progression of arthritis.
Myofascial Release**
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a technique of using gentle hand pressure, to manipulate and elongate the fascial tissue, with the goal of releasing tension by making the tissue more pliable and soft. It is beneficial to all horses who suffer from straightness issues / scar tissue or any horse who needs deeper work.
**Disclaimer: Equine massage is NOT meant to replace any veterinary or chiropractic care for your horse. It is meant to be another course of action for holistic health. All horses should be cleared by a veterinarian before starting any massage sessions.
